Visitors come to visit from New Orleans. Kevin and Quinta McCarthy visited the clinic for almost 2 weeks helping the children ion this area. Quintal is a dentist from Indonesia and it was a pleasure hearing about her home country and having her help in the clinic. It is unfortunate that we have lost the pictures of this couple but I want to thank them for all their help.
The Sunday school has a party. The Sunday school class headed by China, a missionary to this mission, is growing and the children have a wonderful time with the activities as well as the scripture lessons.
School children are bussed to the mission for dental care. We try to help 20 children each day the students come to the mission. The students are bussed to the clinic and returned.
A group from New Hampshire is coming in July to build a new house for a family with 3 children. The house is very bad with dirt floors. They have very old beds and I hope we will have enough monies to buy new beds as well. The house will cost about $3,500.00 US
Visitors to the mission at Christmas time. We have had many visitors to the mission this Christmas helping with the building and the children as well as the clinic.
A family from Canada comes to work at the clinic and help the community. The Loxton family, Kelly, Ernie, Amanda, Brittany and Mitchell from Powassan Wesleyan church in Powassan, Ontario, helps many families with the help of church members.
